JETZ IM ARBEITSZIMMER THEALIT:

Während ihrer Residency wird Sarah Lüdemann (Beauham) ihre Zeit für eine (künstlerische) Forschungsfrage nutzen, die sie so formuliert: „Während meiner Residency bei thealit werde ich den Begriff ‚queer’ als eine Form ständiger Transformation auf das Konzept der Kategorie als solche anwenden. Dabei entstehen textuelle Module, die nicht nur gelesen, sondern auch räumlich erfahrbar gemacht werden.” Ein Zitat aus einer Vorlesung von Gertrude Stein Composition as Explanation, 1926, ist dazu, ähnlich einem Motto, in einer Projektskizze vorangestellt. Da schwer übersetzbar, hier im Original: 

„Beginning again and again is a natural thing even when there is a series. Beginning again and again and again explaining composition and time is a natural thing. It is understood by this time that everything is the same except composition and time, composition and the time of the composition and the time in the composition. Everything is the same except composition and as the composition is different and always going to be different everything is not the same. Everything is not the same as the time when of the composition and the time in the composition is different. The composition is different, that is certain.” 

In ihren Arbeiten beschäftigt sich Sarah Lüdemann (Beauham) mit (menschlichen) Systemstrukturen, Körpern und Chimären, und abstrahiert diese als Bauteile und Choreographien in multi-medialen Skulpturen und Texten.

Sie studierte Bildende Kunst in Oslo und am Central Saint Martins, London (UK) und forscht zur Zeit im Rahmen eines Artistic Research Ph.D. Programms an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen und der Universität Groningen zur modularen Skulptur. Seit 2017 lehrt sie an der Universität und der Hochschule für Künste in Bremen. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in zahlreichen internationalen Ausstellungen gezeigt, unter anderem bei Printed Matter, New York (USA) / HDLU, Zagreb (HR) / Oktobersalon, Belgrad (RS) / Ventolin Art Space, Melbourne (AUS).
